My least favorite book.

I really didn't like this book. It was as if the editor wanted to this book to be different from every book that has ever been written. Is it a chapter? No it's a module. Does it have page numbers? No they are chapter - page number of the chapter. Page numbers and homework questions have the same number designation. It's 21-15. What page is it on? 21-43. It seemed as if we wasted more time trying to get "on the same page" in class than what we did learning. Fortunately we had a good professor that was able to explain the content. I would only buy this book if you had to for class. If I were in charge of an accounting program I would select another book to use. Preferably one with an electronic version and one that was set up like a typical book.

I used this book last semester. It is an excellent book just designed for MBA students, different from the book for accounting students.There are many examples to make you easily understand concepts.

I purchased as a textbook. It's not easy to be "excited" about accounting and financial studies. I will say though that the books is a comprehensive instructional book that covers the information one needs to get up to speed in finance!
